Gujarat CM calls for active youth participation in building Viksit Bharat-2047 at Yuva Samvad programme

Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], September 26 (ANI): Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel interacted with students from various educational institutions at the ‘Yuva Samvad’ programme held at Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji University in Bhavnagar.

Students asked questions on various topics, including Viksit Bharat-2047, employment, education, agriculture, healthcare, sports, women’s empowerment, cybercrime, de-addiction and infrastructure. The Chief Minister listened to their questions and provided clear and practical guidance, a release said. 
The ‘Yuva Samvad’ was organised under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, marking 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service.
CM Patel urged youth to actively contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat-2047. He said, "Viksit Bharat will be achieved not only through the development of major cities but by ensuring that development opportunities and government scheme benefits reach villages and every citizen."

Along with benefiting from government schemes, youth should also help needy people and friends around them access these schemes. This will contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat and Viksit Gujarat.
Highlighting the growing employment opportunities in Dholera SIR, the Chief Minister urged youth to acquire technical skills aligned with the needs of upcoming industries. He said the government is working with companies to provide skill development training, particularly for sectors such as semiconductors.
Answering a question on physical and mental well-being, the Chief Minister urged people to focus on their own capabilities rather than comparing themselves with others. He said that if success is not achieved, one should make another attempt. He also emphasised the benefits of yoga and positive thinking for a healthy mind and body.

Speaking about creating employment opportunities through agriculture, the Chief Minister said, "Knowledge of modern farming methods, suitable seeds, technology and equipment can help youth improve their own farms and contribute to the development of agriculture in their villages."
He urged youth to go beyond classroom knowledge, visit model farms for practical experience and explore value addition of agricultural produce.
Addressing a question on cybercrime, he spoke about the government’s initiatives to spread awareness among students about cybersecurity and online fraud.
Responding to a question on sports, the Chief Minister said, "Sports infrastructure is being developed across the state. He assured government support for projects to develop hockey and other sports facilities in Bhavnagar."
He emphasised the importance of women’s participation in policy-making and highlighted efforts to increase their representation in local self-government institutions.

CM said that learning other languages is important, but there should be no hesitation in speaking one’s mother tongue. He emphasised the importance of taking pride in one’s native language.
CM expressed confidence that youth can make a significant contribution to nation-building through skills, positive thinking, sensitivity and self-confidence. (ANI)
