Washington DC [US], May 22 (ANI): The streaming platform Netflix has shared the first look of actor Charlie Heaton as Charles Shelby in the untitled sequel to 'Peaky Blinders'.
Heaton, best known for his role as Jonathan Byers in Netflix's monster hit "Stranger Things," is set to play Charles Shelby in the series, which also stars Jamie Bell as his half-brother, Duke Shelby.
The six-episode series will focus on the next generation of Shelbys after patriarch Tommy, played by Cillian Murphy, bowed out in the recently released movie spin-off, "The Immortal Man." Duke was played by Barry Keoghan in the film.
"Having fought a violent war, much of it behind enemy lines, Charles Shelby is now embracing normality," reads the synopsis. "He hasn't seen his half-brother Duke in years. Charles severed all ties to the Peaky Blinders gang and the hedonistic Shelby lifestyle. But can you ever escape your own blood?" read the synopsis on the Instagram handle of the series.
The makers took to the Peaky Blinders Instagram handle to share the first look of Charlie Heaton on Friday.

A release date hasn't yet been set, but in the U.K., it will premiere on BBC iPlayer and BBC One, with the rest of the world able to tune in on Netflix.
"Peaky Blinders" is written and created by Steven Knight and produced by Banijay U.K. companies Kudos and Garrison Drama. (ANI)
