“UP emerging as investment hub under double-engine government”: CM Yogi Adityanath
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], October 28 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said that the state has emerged as a major destination for investment, innovation and industry, crediting improved law and order, transparent policies and an investment-friendly environment for the transformation.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister said Uttar Pradesh had lacked a clear vision and a concrete action plan to attract global investment before 2017, but the double-engine government had changed the situation under the leadership of PM Modi.
वर्ष 2017 से पहले उत्तर प्रदेश में वैश्विक निवेश आकर्षित करने की न स्पष्ट दृष्टि थी, न कोई ठोस कार्ययोजना। किन्तु डबल इंजन सरकार ने इस स्थिति को बदला। आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री @narendramodi जी के यशस्वी नेतृत्व ने रिफॉर्म, परफॉर्म और ट्रांसफॉर्म के मंत्र से प्रदेश में निवेश एवं औद्योगिक विकास की नई कार्य-संस्कृति विकसित की। बेहतर कानून-व्यवस्था, पारदर्शी नीतियों और निवेश अनुकूल वातावरण से आज उत्तर प्रदेश इन्वेस्टमेंट, इनोवेशन एवं इंडस्ट्री का प्रमुख केंद्र बन रहा है। इसी बढ़ते वैश्विक विश्वास को नई ऊंचाई देने के लिए आज सिंगापुर के डेलीगेशन के साथ बैठक में उत्तर प्रदेश में निवेश की नई संभावनाओं, वर्तमान की परियोजनाओं को गति देने और निवेश को धरातल पर उतारकर उत्पादन शुरू करने पर चर्चा होगी। हर निवेश से नया उद्योग, हर उद्योग से नया रोजगार और हर रोजगार से परिवारों में खुशहाली, इसी संकल्प के साथ उत्तर प्रदेश वन ट्रिलियन डॉलर की अर्थव्यवस्था बनने की ओर अग्रसर है।

“Before 2017, Uttar Pradesh lacked a clear vision to attract global investment, nor did it have any concrete action plan. However, the double-engine government changed this situation. Under the successful leadership of the Honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, a new work culture of investment and industrial development was fostered in the state through the mantra of reform, perform, and transform,” he said.
Highlighting the state's investment climate and the government's efforts to attract further investments, Adityanath said a meeting with a Singapore delegation would focus on exploring new investment opportunities, accelerating ongoing projects and ensuring that investments translate into production.
He said, “With improved law and order, transparent policies, and an investment-friendly environment, Uttar Pradesh is today emerging as a major hub for investment, innovation, and industry. To elevate this growing global confidence to new heights, today's meeting with the Singapore delegation will discuss new possibilities for investment in Uttar Pradesh, accelerating current projects, and bringing investments to the ground to start production.”
The Chief Minister also linked investment and industrial growth to employment generation and the state's ambition of becoming a one trillion dollar economy.
“Every investment brings a new industry, every industry brings new employment, and every job brings prosperity to families—with this resolve, Uttar Pradesh is moving towards becoming a one trillion dollar economy,” CM added. (ANI)
